HUNTSMAN DEFENCE RECEIVES STATE POLICE SUPPRESSOR ORDER
Townsville, QLD – April 2021.
Huntsman Defence (Huntsman) is pleased to announce that it has received an order from a State Police Force for 47 Oceania Defence Ratchet Lock HyFlow Suppressors. The Oceania Defence suppressors are known for their cutting-edge technology and have been making waves in the industry.
The ordered suppressors are a revolutionary sound suppression safety device. Two separate functional groups within the police organisation will employ the suppressor. The State Police Oceania Defence Suppressor model ordered is a quick attach/detach, patented “dual flow” variant. The design is monolithic, lightweight, and has been praised for its exceptional performance and durability.
Huntsman Defence Managing Director Rob Woods explained, “Australian Law Enforcement end-users continue to seek the latest in suppressor technology. The Ratchet Lock HyFlow suppressors are available in Inconel 718 and Titanium 6Al4V source material. This means that they are not only durable and long-lasting but also lightweight, making them ideal for use in a range of different operational applications.

Additionally, the minimal increase to gas pressures inside the host firearm provides a range of unique benefits. The reduced gas pressures inside the firearms also benefits the officer, through less disturbance from gases in the face, as well as less increase in felt recoil,” said Mr. Woods.
