UNDISCLOSED STATE POLICE TACTICAL GROUP ADOPT DANIEL DEFENSE AS PRIMARY RIFLE
Townsville, QLD – June 2018 – Huntsman Aus Pty Ltd (Huntsman), a supplier of equipment, services and solutions to Government, announces the delivery of custom Daniel Defense rifles and accessories under a contract to supply an undisclosed State Police Group.
The customised Daniel Defense rifle was selected as the primary rifle replacement for the officers of the police tactical group.

The customised Daniel Defense rifle is a modular rifle designed on the AR pattern and manufactured with state-of-the-art equipment in the United States.
The rifle is lightweight, while maintaining strength and durability.
The customised rifle features a 10.3″ cold hammer forged barrel, free-float MFR 9.0″ M-Lok handguard with the patented Daniel Defense “bolt up system” which provides an uninterrupted 1913 rail on top, ambidextrous controls and charging handle and telescopic stock.
“We are conscious of the enormous responsibility that the supply of equipment to Law Enforcement represents; especially when that equipment will be employed for the protection of life,” Mr Woods said.
